SVOYASI: Traditions of the Future
The exhibition explores the fundamental pillars of Russian culture: land, bread, word, time, and eternity.
The SVOYASI project opens a new chapter in the exploration of cultural code, presenting works by some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Russian art.

The exhibition offers a contemporary perspective on the Russian folk tale as a universal narrative of human existence — from the simplicity of everyday life to the essential stages of spiritual growth.
For the exhibition, a musical and sound-based environment was created for 5 exhibition zones and 10 sound sources.
The project used custom ESP32-based players that automatically start and stop the music across all exhibition zones, while also allowing new music to be uploaded and playback volume to be controlled via Wi-Fi.

Scope of work:
  • musical and sound design for the exhibition space;
  • a multi-zone playback system;
  • development and integration of autonomous ESP32 players;
  • Wi-Fi-based volume control and audio file updates.
