The exhibition showcases the artistic endeavors of "
Palaty" residents, featuring captivating works by various creators: Olga Malygina's mosaics, Ekaterina Gromtseva's openwork weaving, Natalia Kosovets' textile panels, Victoria Dego and Kira Kostina's porcelain sculptures, and Milana Khalilova's felt installations.
Delving into the theme of liminality (derived from the Latin word "limen," meaning "threshold"), these artists have employed manual labor to explore transitional states. Each piece of functional design is a solitary creation, offering a personal exploration of the shifts between seasons. The exhibition aims to unveil states of uncertainty and renewal, expressed through traditional techniques and materials, presenting a visual journey through the "threshold" experiences.
Enhancing the immersive experience, visitors will be serenaded by the music composed by Pavel Pankovsky and performed by the Komon ensemble.
